Sermon: 1 Corinthians 6:1-11 - The Trivial and The Eternal

Paul confronts the Corinthian church's pattern of using worldly values—status, power, and self-promotion—to guide their Christian lives rather than following Jesus's example of self-sacrifice. The core issue isn't just bad behavior but a distorted identity, as the Corinthians are acting like people who belong to the world instead of people who belong to Christ. All the church's problems with division, immorality, lawsuits, and other issues stem from this fundamental misunderstanding of their Christian identity.
